‍Duties & Responsibilities 

The Head of Product Strategy Unit is responsible for leading and driving the strategic vision, development, and management of all Bank’s products. The role demands a strong background in banking technology, preferably with Temenos platforms, and involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams across the Bank and external stakeholders, to deliver innovative, high-quality products and services.

You will be responsible to:

  • Define and prioritise the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements;
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, including ideation, design, development, testing, and go-to-market strategies;
  • Conduct regular market analysis and competitor benchmarking;
  • Oversee the Bank’s Customer feedback platforms and analyse such feedback in order to consider improvements or review of existing products and services;
  • Build and lead a high-performing product development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability;
  • Work closely with all relevant departments to ensure seamless product launches and customer adoption;
  • Monitor product performance and related financial metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve business targets;
  • Review and manage Tariff of Charges; and
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in banking technology, financial services and regulatory changes.

Skills

You must have:

  • In-depth understanding of banking operations, digital banking trends, and regulatory requirements;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on customer-centric product design; and
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Computer Science, Business Management, Economics or a financial related area. MBA or equivalent will be considered an asset;
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in product management and development, ideally with a focus on banking technology; and
  • Experience in banking technology, preferably on Temenos’ suite of products will be considered an asset.
