Duties and responsibilities
Digital Transformation Manager – Lending, is responsible for driving the digitalization of lending products and services. This role focuses on enhancing digital lending capabilities, optimizing processes, and ensuring alignment with core banking enhancements and digital channels. The position requires a strong understanding of lending products, digital transformation, and financial technology to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Digital Lending Strategy & Execution:
- Support the implementation of the Bank’s strategies for digitizing lending products, including personal loans, mortgages, SME financing, and corporate lending.
- Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce turnaround time, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budgets.
Core Banking System & Lending Enhancements:
- Collaborate with IT and external partners to implement system enhancements that support both traditional and digital lending.
- Ensure seamless integration of digital lending products with the core banking system.
Digital Channels & Customer Journey Optimization:
- Work closely with the Digital Channels Unit to enhance the accessibility of lending products via mobile, internet banking, and other digital platforms.
- Improve the end-to-end digital lending journey, from application to disbursement, leveraging automation and AI-driven decisioning.
Testing:
- Design business test cases for System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Develop UAT test plans that reflect real-life usage of the system ensuring that product meets business requirements and user expectations.
Regulatory & Compliance Alignment:
- Ensure digital lending solutions comply with local regulations, risk management policies, and security standards.
- Collaborate with Compliance and Risk teams to implement regulatory changes into digital lending processes.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration:
- Work with IT, Business, Risk, and Product teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of lending transformation initiatives.
- Liaise with fintech partners, third-party providers, and regulatory bodies to drive innovation in digital lending.
- Provide training and support to employees to help them adapt to new digital systems and processes.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Establish KPIs to measure the performance and adoption of digital lending products.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analytics and customer feedback.
- Maintain updated documentation and use tools like Jira and Confluence.
Competencies and experience
Skills, Experience and Knowledge
- 7+ years of experience in banking, lending products, or operations.
- Strong knowledge of lending platforms, credit underwriting, and automation technologies.
- Experience in implementing and working with lending solutions.
- Proven track record of being an active participant on large-scale digital transformation project.
- Excellent stakeholder management, project management, and analytical skills.
