Duties & Responsibilities 

You will be responsible for:

  • implementing ETLs using SSIS/Python, and database stored procedures using SQL Server;
  • generating XML/CSV files for system data exports;
  • developing and maintaining SSRS and Power BI reports for business users;
  • ensuring data quality, integrity, and security;
  • designing, developing, and implementing data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence and analytics needs; and
  • documenting business processes, designing, building, testing, and maintaining data flows using Microsoft technologies.

Competencies and Experience

The potential candidate should be reliable and trustworthy, well-organised with a disposition to learn and have a team-oriented approach.

You must have:

  • at least a Bachelor’s Degree in IT; 
  • a minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in data development using Microsoft technologies preferably in the financial sector; 
  • hands-on experience in using SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT), along with a strong foundation in SQL and data modeling concepts;
  • experience in implementing Microsoft SSIS ETL package solutions; 
  • experience in implementing SSRS reports;
  • experience in Python;
  •  experience in DBT will be considered an asset;
  • experience in implementing .NET and web applications will be considered an asset; 
  • experience in building power BI reports will be considered an asset; 
  • strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; and
  • demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.
