Duties & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely execution of work related to Banking Operations.
You will be responsible for:
- effectively supporting the manager responsible for the unit in the daily tasks and providing general support as may be required;
- making sure that due diligence process checks are followed;
- implementing and monitoring best practices that are issued from time to time;
- clearing and payments;
- following and assisting in on queries from front liners and making sure that end of day tasks are concluded on the day;
- assisting in other duties as maybe required by the unit; and
- maintaining a good and healthy working relationship with all internal and external parties
Competencies & Experience
The potential candidate should be a reliable and trustworthy team player with an aptitude for learning, able to work in a dynamic environment, meticulous and organised in your work.
You must:
- have sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;
- have banking accounting and fundamentals experience;
- have experience in coordinating activities;
- be multitasking, target oriented and with good time management skills;
- have an analytical mindset with an eye for detail; and
- have good working knowledge of local (Maltese) legislation in respect of payments;
Knowledge & Experience
- past 3/4 year experience in a payments related area of a Financial Institution; and
- have at least a Diploma at MQF Level 5 in Business Management or Banking & Finance.
