Duties and Responsibilities
As a Senior Administrative Officer you will be assisting in the carrying out of day-to-day operational duties related to customer payments, clearing of cheques, execution of customer orders made through internet banking as well as activities related to the due diligence process and processing of data at customer account opening and maintenance.
You will be responsible for:
- performing due diligence process of the opening of accounts for personal and non-personal customers;
- assisting inward and outward clearing process;
- assisting on tasks such as deceased customer and garnishee mandates;
- managing the handling and processing of inward and outward payments;
- handling chasers and queries on payments;
- ensuring statics are up to dated according to the delegated area of supervision; and
- providing solutions for complex situations.

You must:
- adopt a target driven approach to work;
- be a team player and a person of trust and integrity;
- have good analytical skills and attention to detail;
- possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Maltese;
- possess good Microsoft Office application skills mainly in the use of Excel and Word;
- pay particular attention to details and accuracy while executing your tasks while being efficient and productive; and
- be willing to work occasionally on Saturdays.
Knowledge & Experience
You must:
- have a minimum 3 years banking experience, will be considered an asset; and
- have a certificate or diploma at MQF Level 5 in Business Management or Banking & Finance, will be considered an asset.
