Duties and responsibilities

You will be responsible to:

  • assist the relationship manager and the relationship executive, as the case may be, in managing a portfolio of clients;
  • be the primary contact on certain administrative queries;
  • promote the Bank's products and services;
  • assist in the achievement of the team’s business objectives of commercial activity, profitability and growth;
  • conduct the preparatory works underpinning the preparation of credit proposals;
  • handle security documentation;
  • process payments and carrying out other administrative transactions and duties; and
  • manage AML / CFT related risks; deputising for the Relationship Executive in his/her absence.

Competencies and experience

The potential candidate should be reliable, trustworthy, and well-organised, with a disposition to learn. Adopting a team-oriented approach. Furthermore, the candidate should also demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Maltese, with the ability to communicate effectively using a high level of business English.

You must:

  • be able to prioritise, multi-task and work under pressure;
  • have strong research and analytical skills;
  • possess excellent Microsoft Office application skills mainly in the use of MS Excel and MS Word; and
  • hold at least MQF Level 4 qualification at advanced/intermediate level.

Candidates with previous banking experience will be given preference.
